DPS-SAUDI ARABIAN DHIMMIS

It is Saudi Arabia giving the DPS their marching orders which include serving halal meat, teaching Arabic language concurrent with English as a second language (ESL). Ramadan accommodations are also promoted by the DPS. A letter is sent to all teachers explaining the month of Ramadan and suggesting that if a test must be given it is best to do it in the morning. During the last week of the fast students will likely be out until 1 or 2 am celebrating at their local Mosque. So it is best to not do any testing or strenuous activity during this time.

If Muslims do require all these accommodations for their religion, why do they not attend a private Islamic school so tax payers are not required to pay for a religious accommodation in violation of the Constitution? The answer, obviously, is why would they ever do this when they are so capable of intimidating and coercing the accommodation for free.

This letter sent from DPS to staff and parents, confirms what non-muslims in Dearborn have been reporting for years. Christmas and Easter are "those that should not be named". We must call Easter "Spring Break", and the word Christmas - maharrum. Use "Winter Break" so as not to offend or place importance of one religion over another. But it would also be maharrum to call by Eid by other name. This is why the letter states that "Winter Break" will begin a day early in order to accommodate "Eid Al-Adha (holiday of sacrifice)".

"FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 13, 2007

Contact: David Mustonen, Communications Coordinator (313) 827-3006

Winter Break Will Start
On December 19

Originally scheduled to start on December 20, 2007 the Dearborn Public Schools will now start the Winter Break on December 19, 2007.

On Monday, December 10, 2007 district administration learned that the start of Eid Al-Adha (holiday of sacrifice) would be on December 19, 2007. Due to expected low attendance, the district will change the start of the Winter Break to December 19, 2007. State funding of schools is tied to attendance, therefore the decision to start the Winter Break one day early will avoid any potential loss in revenue, maintain the integrity of instructional time, and meet the needs of the community. All schools will close at the end of the day on December 18, 2007 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2008."

Reading the front page of the Dearborn paper has really settled it for me...
"We received a fax from the Islamic Center of America that all the imams got together and said the 20th is when Eid would be celebrated,"Mustonen said.

A fax? They sent a fax? The Dearborn Public School system doesn't even rate a phone call? I guess this is what disrupting 18,000 students in the Dearborn Public School system means to the Islamic Center of America. A fax (at the last minute). Could this possibly be an opportunity for cultural sensitivity training for the imams so they can better understand the culture and values of non-Muslims living among them?

Dearborn Public School's blind accommodation of Islamic religious rituals is absolutely ridiculous and unfair. We have to speak in code (winter break, holiday) when comes to CHRISTMAS, but every Islamic event gets to be referred to exactly what it is (Eid al-Ad ha, Ramadan). And, the front page of the Dearborn paper has to run a sidebar to explain to all us uneducated and intolerant life-long Dearbornites what exactly Eid al-Ad ha is all about.
Why is our culture and town being a servant to Islam?

According to the Press & Guide, David Mustonen states: "It wasn't until Monday that Saudi Arabia announced it would be the 19th (EID). Then the imams from the Islamic Center sent the district a fax stating the 20th is the day, but other imams are going with Saudi Arabia and that puts the majority of kids out of school. Why would I send my daughters to a school district directly influenced by a place where they will be beaten if they drive a car or walk outside without a man? And I do see the inconsistency of driving around in my car with oil possibly from Saudi, but that is a macro problem that my choice can not impact. My only choice is to go to a private school that does not take it's marching orders from a value system that is as dangerous to my girls as having the ku klux Clan telling Detroit Schools when to shut down.

Going to a place where girls are not property.

Why everybody is arguing about it? There is a simple solution for the whole issue. Ship them back to their countries where they practise terrorism in their mosques instead of doing it here. You have to make sure to ban them from coming back here. If they get desperate they could blow themselves up in their Muslim communities. After all they all want to meet the 72 virgines.

This holiday date thing is getting old. Seems like it's every year now.

IMO, it's a game tactic to force dhiminitude, and not just in schools. Get you used to kow-towing, soon you do it instinctively.

Game over.

Aridog I agree with you that this is a game tactic so they could infiltrate and spread their Islam idiology in the whole system eventually while everyone is distracted by something else. But in no way we should or would kneel for them and what they stand for. We have to fight them to the end with all the means. They are planting the bad seeds starting from schools so when time comes these Muslim students will be ready for Jihad against us and everyone who beleives in the free world.

A school in Arabic means Madrasa and schools, Madarese. Are we moving them from their Muslim countries to the U.S.A?

Over my dead body.

Islam means submission. They will work in whatever way necessary to make us submit.

I doubt shipping them all back to their countries would be a simple solution. Detroit is a sancuary city. Even those here illegally (without papers) can commit crimes, be arrested, and if they don't skip the country ahead of time, serve jail time without any inquiries as to their citizenship status.
CAIR Michigan is responsible for this and they call it an anti-racist policy.

I agree with you Darby. It is all right and true but we should never submit to them in whatever they try to do. We should face them, stand against them ant fight them to the end.

There, and I hadn't even caught the Eid/Winter Break thing, jaded as I am.

This trakcs nicely with this ugly story:

"Only weeks after voting for a resolution that "recognizes the Islamic faith as one of the great religions of the world," nine Democrats in the U.S. House refused to vote for a Christmas resolution that condemns the worldwide persecution of Christians." (Dems: Amen to Ramadan, but forget about Christmas)

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59171

These are the 19 (symbolic number there) against refusing to recognize the federal holiday of Christmas:

"The nine members who voted against the Christmas Resolution were all Democrats: Ackerman (NY), Clarke (NY), DeGette (CO), Hastings (FL), Lee (CA), McDermott (WA), Scott (VA), Stark (CA) and Woolsey (CA). The 10 who answered "present" without entering a vote were also Democrats except one: Conyers (MI), Frank (MA), Holt (NJ), Payne (NJ), Pence (Republican from IN), Schakowsky (PA), Schwartz (PA), Wasserman-Schultz (FL), Welch (VT) and Yarmuth (KY).

Michigan's Conyers is in there. And he did vote yes, yes, hell yes to honor Ramadan.

Might as well start fasting in Ramadan and convert to Islam and eventually we will have the U.S. house of Islam.

They are willing to sell the country, their believes, their religions just to have a chair in the name of Islam. Who is brain washing them? The Jihadists.

Anonymous said...

They are indeed brain washed. But, as a woman I am not yet ready to submit to a religion where I am valued less than a herd of cattle.
My love of all pork products (except pork rinds) is also evoked toward rebellion.

Cattles are worshiped in some religion. In Islam, women are tools for sex and slavery. If they rebell they wil be slaughtered. I hope and wish that no body will submit for them and their religion.

Why Gov. Jennifer Grandholm had to appoint a Muslim as the director of the Michigan Department of Human Servises? (They know nothing about humanity).

What is the connection between her, ACCESS and Ismael Ahmed?

I suppose they already brain washed her.

Very sad. They are spreading in the whole system.

It is funny how Muslims and Arabs change letters in their names.

Is Ismael Ahmad of the MDHS related to Omar Ahmad of CAIR?

Just before New Year, and after several several years of drafts and debate, the UN General Assembly passed what is called the Resolution on Combating Defamation of Religions. The name sounds noble enough, and many of the articles contained herein also sound noble if not inocuous. The problem is, however, that it is only aimed at the defamation of one religion-Islam. There is no mention of any other religion being subject to persecution or defamation. There is also no mention of the true perpetrators of religious intolerance in the world today-radical Islam. As it is, it is just another example of the moral corruption epitomized by the United Nations.

I won't bother to reprint the entire document-rather, I will leave that to the reader to look it up. I will, however, list some of the paragraphs-those that single out the one religion that, according to the UN, is being subjected to defamation and persecution.

"The General Assembly,...."

* "Noting with deep concern the increasing trend in recent years of statements attacking religions, Islam and Muslims in particular, especially in human rights forums."

* "Notes with deep concern the intensification of the campaign of defamtion of religions and the ethnic and religious profiling of Muslim minorities in the aftermath of the tragic events of 11 September 2001."

* "Expresses its deep concern that Islam is frequently and wrongly associated with human rights violations and terrorism."

* "Deplores the use of print, audio-visual and electronic media, including the Internet and any other means to incite acts of violence, xenophobia or related intolerance and discrimination against Islam or any other religion."

* "Alarmed at the continuing negative impact of the events of September 11, 2001 on Muslim minorities and communities in some non-Muslim countries and the negative projection of Islam in the media and the introduction and enforcement of laws that specifically discriminate against and target Muslims."

What is so striking about this resolution is that only one religion is singled out as being defamed/persecuted- Islam. There are only a couple of references to "the tragic events of September 11 2001-with no mention of who carried those events out and for what motive. There are only a couple of references to defamation of "any other religion".

Yet, nowhere is there a word about true acts of violence, murder and terror being carried out by Muslims in the name of Jihad virtually every day against non-Muslims.

Nor is there a word about the daily acts of violence, murder and terror being carried out by Muslims against other Muslims (e.g- Shia against Sunni and vice-versa).

Not a word about why 9-11 was carried out or by whom.

Not a word about the London bombings, who did it and why.

Not a word about the Madrid bombings-who did it or why.

Not a word about the bombing in Bali-who did it or why.

Not a word about Darfur.

Not a word about the beheadings of Daniel Pearl or Nick Berg as their killers shouted "Allahu Akbar".

Not a word about Saudi law that makes it illegal to openly practice any other religion in the Kingdom.

Not a word about the persecution of members of the Ba'hai faith in the Islamic Republic of Iran-persecution that includes murder.

Not a word about demonstrations by UK Muslims calling for the beheadings or slaughter those who defame Islam.

Not a word about the proclamations of Imams and their followers calling for the imposition of Islam and Shariah law in their adopted Western countries-and indeed, all over the world.

Not a word about Fatwas-orders for the killing of people in the west, like Salmon Rushdie for defaming Islam.

Not a word about the riots and killings carried out by Muslims in reaction to a bunch of silly Danish cartoons depicting Mohammed in a negative light.

Not a word about the rise of anti-Semitism (Jewish)fomented by western Muslims.

Not a word about the desecration of Jewish synagogues and cemeteries by Muslim immigrants in France.

Not a word about so-called "honor killings"-sometimes practiced in Muslim families in the West in contravention of law.

Not a word about forced female circumcision, also often practiced in Muslim enclaves in the West, in contravention of law.

Not a word about the stoning or hanging of women in places like Iran or Saudi Arabia-who were unfortunate enough to have been raped-thus becoming in the eyes of those societies, "impure".

Not a word about the Taliban executions of women in soccer stadiums for the crime of adultery.

Not a word.

Below are listed the countries on the UN Commission on Human Rights that authored this resolution, and how they voted.

Voting in favor:

Argentina
Bahrain
Bhutan
Brazil
Burkina Faso
China
Congo
Costa Rica
Cuba
Egypt
Eritrea
Ethiopia
Gabon
Honduras
Indonesia
Mauritania
Nigeria
Pakistan
Paraguay

Uganda
Zimbabwe

Voting against:

Australia
Austria
Croatia
Domincan Republic
France
Germany
Guatemala
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Japan
Netherlands
Sweden
Ukraine
United Kingdom
USA

There are two ways to interpret the identification of the countries involved in this resolution. Some would interpret it (with a few exceptions) as white vs non-white or East vs West. I would interpret it(with few exceptions) as free vs non-free.

My point is three-fold: First, this is just another example of the moral rot in the UN-a corrupt organization made up mostly of corrupt, non-democratic nations, hostile to the West and hostile to true democracy.

Second: This is just another example of the UN's desire to accommodate Islam-a form of Djimmitud, if you will, that will only lead to the creeping authority of the Muslim world and the loss of our own hard-earned freedoms.

Third: Notice how much of the resolution's language is focused not just on laws and discriminatory practices, but words and thought, for example the press and Internet. Does the United Nations want its member countries to crack down on any criticism of Islam and its terroristic elements? Is any criticism of Islam to be outlawed? Ar we to have censureship?

I hope this resolution gets the widest publicity possible. Maybe someday, America will wake up to the fact that the United Nations is a failed experiment that no longer deserves the financial support or the membership of the US-or any other free and democratic nation.

One thing you need to remember when you'r talking about the public schools is that if a cearain % of students don't attend the district does not get credit for the day and will have to extend their year. What else would you have them do?

Also to say they are extending the winter break for a muslim holidy seems to me to be reasnable. If we had winter break scheduled to beging December 26th would you be offended if someone said it was being moved up a day for Christians to celebrate Christmas? Of course not, that would be reasonable because it is such an important holiday for so many students. But it seems even though the entire "winter break" is designed to accomidate Christmas and New Years many of the posters on this board are still not happy.
How is it that you can want your school holiday's labled exactly as you like and when you like, but don't even want any days off of school for a holidy most of the students in Dearborn celebrate? The Eid hollidays are not labled on the school calandar as Eid holidays they are simply labled as days off. And they don't get a whole week ahead of and behind thier holiday like Christians, they get the days off only.
I really don't know what there is to complain about, unless you just don't like living in a multicultural society...in which case you are in the wrong country and you need to go back where you or your anscesters came from, because that is one of the great things about AMERICA. I love my country just the way it is, thank you very much.
