From here in Israel, the view is a little different, and feelings are ambivalent.
As it stands, the current Lebanese gov't has an interest in a relatively quiet border. But, if Hezbollah starts another war, as a terrorist organization, Lebanon can always cry to the UN.
However, if Hezbollah takes over the Lebanese gov't, and then uses the state apparatus of Lebanon to attack Israel, everyone in Lebanon knows that they can expect the IDF to act with much less restraint in a reply.
Israelis and Lebanese are trying to work out which scenario they prefer, and when a consensus is reached, the next round of fighting will begin.
