Special Community Meeting After Death of Imam
Due to recent events related to the death of Imam Luqman Abdullah and the arrests of a dozen Detroit Muslims, a special townhall meeting will be held to discuss the following:
* Information regarding the death of Imam Abdullah and new information regarding this current case from a family spokesman.
* “Know Your Rights” presentation regarding your rights if approached by the FBI.
* Historical connection between the COINTELPRO program of the 1960’s and current usage of agent-provocateurs and informants in the Muslim community.
Presenters will be Omar Regan (family spokesman and actor), CAIR-MI Attorney Lena Masri, and Ron Scott (Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality & National Lawyers Guild).

As mentioned, there will be a rally preceding from 4:30 to 6 PM outside FBI headquarters on Michigan. “The demonstration is designed to both condemn the assassination of the Islamic leader as well as demand an independent investigation into his death at the hands of the FBI.”
